My writing target for this year was 10,000 words. That seemed like an easy goal. Writing my usual 500 words per day over lunch would leave plenty of wiggle room if I needed to miss a day or two.
As you can see it didn’t quite turn out like that. Just like with homework when I was at school, just about everything got left until the end of the month.
