Hollow

Posted in Music on .

Today we’re announcing the release of Hollow, my latest musical adventure. I’m working with RH Connon to create musical stories featuring his words and my music. Our first piece, Next Month, a thirty minute tale of monsters in the night, will be available soon.

Hidden Places Score

Posted in Music on .

After some fighting with various pieces of software I’ve managed to produce a score of Hidden Places, available for download. After struggling with Rose Garden and LilyPond I ended up importing the MIDI file into NoteFlight and printed out to PDF.

Hidden Places Music

Posted in Music on .

I’ve completed the music for Ludum Dare which is up on my Soundcloud page. It’s title Hidden Places and has a very sinister feel to it.

Game of Thrones

Posted in Music on .

It’s taken a lot longer than planned but I’ve just released a version of the Game of Thrones soundtrack, written by the incredibly talented Ramin Djawaldi. It’s using the same guitar quartet I used on the Dream by Day EP.

Marshall Amp

Just before Nasoalmo I tried out a mix of free amp simulators. I wanted to see what kind of guitar sounds I could get from a direct line into the computer using an amp sim, rather than micing up my sturdy Marshall amp.

Monkeys in Space

Monkeys in Space

In 2012 I attempted Nasoalmo for the first time while simultaneously writing a novel for Nanowrimo. To make it slightly easier on myself the album was a concept album based on the novel and they’re both called Monkeys in Space.
