Hidden Places

This week I released a second demo track to my Soundcloud page called Hidden Places.

It was originally written for Ludum Dare 29 back in 2013. The game was The Drowning Man and was heavily influenced by the Gormenghast novels by Mervyn Peake while the original score was influenced by The Drowning Man by the Cure, from the album Faith, which is also influenced by the books.

From those beginnings I’ve developed the song fvurther and added lyrics. Not being a singer I have a Megirune Luka vocaloid to do that for me! I am incredibly impressed with what I’ve seen and heard of vocaloids so far. I’ve only experimented a bit so far but the ease of use and flexibility is amazing.

Have a listen and let me know what you think. More next week!
